11 Things that Rock

1.  The incredibly cheap mums and free pumpkins I acquired to adorn my front porch are still intact.  Mums aren't dead...pumpkins aren't rotten.  Score.

2.  I have been blessed to see my best friend from out of town 3 of the last 4 weekends.  We didn't even see each other that often when we worked together.  Lots of miles, but lots of smiles.

3.  My mom.  Thanks to her, my two fall birthday girls had awesome parties with some of their awesome little girl friends.  I may be able to put "event planner" on my resume, but she is the BEST at little kid birthday parties.  Hands down.

4.  Lincoln Park After Dark OPI nail polish.  And the people that know me well enough to know that it's the best. gift. ever.

5.  God's knack for designing/planning/orchestrating some of the most unpredictably unique, appointed and anointed friendships at just the right moment in time.  The kind that meet our needs and bring Him glory in one single swoop.

6.  Weekends.

7.  Mondays (sorry...but I do love me some routine after a wild and wacky weekend).

8.  A stapler that actually has staples in it that one time in a blue moon that you need to staple something at home.

9.  People that make me laugh hard enough to snort.  Not that I do snort...but if I did...those people would rock.

10.  Sushi.  With chopsticks and plenty of wasabi, of course.

11.  The reality that God will never waste anything that is given to Him.  Whether it's a life, a circumstance, a good thing, a difficult thing, a small gift, a large gift, an insecurity, a confidence, a fear, a promise or a faith that is the size of a mustard seed.  He'll take it.  And He'll use it.  Every single time.
